A fund has been established to purchase a new Church Bus.  It is estimated that a new bus will cost approximately $55,000.  To contribute for this project, put the words “Bus Fund” in the memo field of your check.

Run for God

Join the “Run With God” Program at 6:00 pm Sunday nights for an alternate bible study and fellowship time.  The Sanctuary service will still be at 6:00 pm as well.

 

 

VBS is scheduled for July 14th  – 17th

Pre Teen Camp is July 29th  – August 2nd

Brother Burton spoke at the Centennial Anniversary of the Missouri State Association of Free Will Baptists on June 3, 2013.  Pictures of the event have been added to the Gallery.

 

 

CHRIST OF THE OZARKSOn June 27, 2013, the DOVES will travel to Eureka Springs, Arkansas to attend The Great Passion Play and the “Total Experience”.  The cost for advanced purchase tickets and the motel room (double occupancy) is $ 70 per person.  (Food cost is not included).  We will be leaving the church at 8:30 am on Thursday June 27 and we will return to West Plains on Friday June 28.  Registration and payment is required by Wednesday night June 12, 2013 for this event and a sign up sheet is in the church foyer.

We will be taking the High School & Jr High Youth to a Cardinals Game in St Louis on July 7th for Christian Day. Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty will be speaking following the game. The cost of tickets will be $15.00 each (the church is supplementing the price of the tickets)

We have created a Building Committee to explore the future needs of our church. This Committee consists of (Chairman) Rusty Doss, Stanley Taylor, Bert Cantrell, Luke Boyer, Ray Paxton & Dennis McGinley. Please pray for the future growth of our church.

WE ARE IN NEED OF NURSERY WORKERS. If you would like to help out in the nursery please contact Angie Garner, Lisa Herring or Bro Dennis.

We Have Lots of Dishes left down in the kitchen from recent fellowship and funeral dinners.  Please check and see if any of these might be yours.  Thanks.
